Apologies for the late postings

On behalf of SoNNYBiZ Enterprise, I would like to apologize for the late postings of our business operations due to some difficulties and certain circumstances.

We would also like to thank all Connaughtians and all who had helped us in one way or the another to further improve SoNNYBiZ and provided moral support to take our business to a whole new level! We do appreciate it a lot!

Please continue to support us as we continue to compete for the final two months to achieve the status of Champion of ExxonMobil Young Entreprenuers Program.

Tasty Fried Chicken & Refreshing Can drinks

SoNNYBiZ Enterprise seize this opportunity by setting up 2 stalls on this cross country event in SMK Taman Connaught. The 1st stall sold can drinks. While the other stall was Fried Chicken. Products from both stalls sold like hot cakes as there was great demand for it. We have acquired a profit which 30% of it goes to the school.

Teachers' Day ( 28th & 29th May 2009 )

The annual Teachers' Day held on these two days is one of the schools many traditions to honour and appreciate our teachers. We seized this opportunity to sell float. The Float was a hit among students because of a hot day and after sports games. It was an also an enjoyable day for us employees. ^^

Carnival Day ( 11th April 2009 )

We got straight to work after establishing our Company the day before. We operated two games stalls which was named 'WATER-WARZ' & 'BOMB-BOMB. It was an 11th hour project but we manage to pull it off with great success and proudly donated 90%of our profit to the school for the fund raising project by our school!

EYE Week ( 11th & 12th August 2009 )

On the 11th & 12th August 2009, SoNNYBiZ Enterprise went to Menara ExxonMobil to operate a business school together with SMK Seri Mutiara. We sold Malaysian All-Time Favourite Nasi Lemak, Kuih Raya, Muffins, Green Tea, Carshades, Keropok and others.Nasi Lemak and Keropok were the best selling products and it sold like hot cakes!

Gardenia & On The Run Field Trip (6th August 2009)

A field trip was arranged for 8 students, 1 teacher and 1 advisor from each school during the EYE Program. This field trip involve visiting an ExxonMobil facility and other company's facility to expose the students to real life businesses. Buses were arrange for all participants for the day trip.

As for EYE Program 2009, The facility chosen were Gardenia Factory and On The Run petrol station, both situated in Shah Alam on the 6th August 2009. SoNNYBiZ went with 5 other schools and shared a bus with students from SMK Seri Mutiara. Overall, it was a very good learning experience for SoNNYBiZ's employees. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly as it was an in-depth experience.

Fashion Competition - UNLEASH !!!

SonnyBiz an Exxonmobil affiliate will be hosting a fashion competition extravaganza on the 15th of August 2009 at the schools hall (Dewan Dato’ Wong Kee Tat). We have approached clothing companies such as VIOR, SANTA BARBARA POLO & RACQUET CLUB and Private Structure to sponsor chothings for this event. We have hired a make-up artist and an experienced model as well to guide our very own models from our school.

This event will be on a grander scale and also be one of a kind in SMK Taman Connaughts’ history.

Many activities have been lined up for this event including a voting session for the best dressed and a small carnival selling food, accessory, clothings and many more apparels. Inconjunction with this event an I-shapped stage will be erected in the hall for the models to parade their clothings and accessories on.

Tickets sold for this event are RM8 for normal seats and RM15 for VIP seats. Tickets can be bought on the actual day of the event or by giving a call to our organisers, Lim Sin Ting (012-8087181) or Lee Chin Yung (016-9839298). All are welcomed and invited to this event.
